DAG 1 — Siem Reap
After transferring to your hotel in Siem Reap, your guide will meet you to discuss the itinerary for seeing the Angkor complex. If time permits take in the sunset from one of these historical sites, which includes Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the Bayon temples.
DAG 2 — Siem Reap
Rise early to watch the sunrise over one of mankind‘s greatest achieve-ments and continue your exploration of the temple complex. This afternoon take a boat ride on Tonle Sap lake. In the evening you will feast on a buffet while taking in a cultural dance show.
DAG 3 — Siem Reap
In the morning transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Angkor Wat
De tempels van Angkor zijn gebouwd door de Khmer, een beschaving tussen 802 en 1220 na Christus. Ze vormen nog steeds een van de meest verbazeningwekkende architectonische prestaties uit de geschiedenis van de mensheid. Vanuit Angkor regeerden de Khmer koningen over een enorm gebied dat zich uitstrekte van Vietnam tot China en de Golf van Bengalen. Er staan meer dan honderd stenen tempels. Het zijn de resten van een groot religieus, sociaal en bestuurlijk centrum. Alle andere gebouwen - paleizen, openbare gebouwen en huizen - werden van hout gemaakt en zijn allang verdwenen.
